Early in the morning of the 20th, a fire broke out in a room in an apartment in the center of Kagoshima City, and three people, including children, were rescued, but they are unconscious.

After 4 am on the 20th, a resident of the same apartment reported to the fire department that smoke was coming from the 2nd floor of the apartment in Shimoarada 4-chome, Kagoshima City.



19 fire trucks went out to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished after about 40 minutes.



According to the fire department, one room on the second floor of the condominium was burnt, and three people including children were rescued from this room, but all of them were unconscious and were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.



The police are investigating the cause of the fire.



The site is in the center of Kagoshima City, near the Kagoshima Prefectural Office, and is a residential area where condominiums are lined up.



A man living on the 3rd floor of the same apartment said, "I was surprised when the fire alarm went off suddenly. The smoke was all over and the smell of burning was spreading."
