The reporter learned from the Forestry and Grass Bureau of Gaize County, Ngari Prefecture, Tibet that recently, female Tibetan antelopes have finished calving from northern Tibet and have begun to return to their original habitat.

During this process, the Zhumari Management Station and Gangru Management Station of Qiangtang National Nature Reserve in Gaize County rescued three Tibetan antelope cubs who were alone and left behind during a joint patrol.

According to reports, one of the female Tibetan antelopes was killed by an ambushing lynx, leaving a lamb less than a month old. At the same time, there are two lambs not far away who may be left behind due to snooze. .

Due to the large population of Tibetan antelopes returning from calving, it is impossible to tell where the mothers of the two lagging lambs are. Finally, the staff temporarily brought the three Tibetan antelope cubs that were born less than one month old back to the patrol tent.

After the Gaize County Forestry and Grass Bureau learned about it, it asked the management and protection staff to send the three lambs to the county overnight for rescue.

The bureau specially set up pens for the three Tibetan antelope youngsters and arranged for special personnel to feed them.

At present, the three lambs are in good health and in excellent mental state.

The management staff will wait for the three lambs to be able to survive independently before releasing them to nature.
