Seismologists have recorded a magnitude 5.8 earthquake in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of the Kingdom of Tonga. It is reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
It is noted that the epicenter of tremors is 289 km south-west of the city of Vaini.
The outbreak was located at a depth of 139.1 km.
Earlier, seismologists recorded an earthquake of magnitude 5.5 in the south of the Atlantic Ocean in the South Sandwich Islands.
