On July 29th, overlooking Panshan Road, the inner ring road of Bashan Grand Canyon, built on the cliff.
The 140-kilometer Bashan Grand Canyon is located in Xuanhan County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. It is an area where Tujia people live.
The terrain of the Grand Canyon is dangerous, and building a road that leads directly to the outside world has been the wish of local villagers for generations.
In 2016, in the process of poverty alleviation, the construction of an inner ring line through the Grand Canyon and connecting various scenic spots was put on the agenda. In August 2018, the inner ring line with a total investment of 200 million yuan and a length of about 50 kilometers was completed.
After the road was repaired, the Yunmuxiang and other Chinese medicinal materials planted in the Grand Canyon quickly expanded to 30,000 mu. B&Bs and inns gradually stood up beside the inner ring road, and the Tujia villages scattered in the depths of the canyon embarked on the road to get rich.
