Hala Sedky about her Palestinian origins: I am honored.. but I am a Sa’idiya and I am proud

The star, Hala Sedky, commented on what was circulated on social media, about the fact that she has Palestinian origins from her father's side, in a publication that addressed artists of non-Egyptian roots.

The Egyptian actress denied this, while stressing that she is honored to be from any Arab country, but she is proud of her Upper Egyptian roots, as she put it.

Hala Sedky posted on her official account on “Instagram” a picture of what was circulated about her father being of Palestinian origin, and commented on her saying: “This post has spread for a long time and has been downloaded to many sites … I am honored to be from any Arab country,” adding: “ But to clarify, I am Egyptian and of Egyptian roots, and the origin of the father’s roots is from Upper Egypt, Al-Minya, and the mother’s roots are from Upper Egypt as well, although she was blonde, but her roots are from Upper Egypt.

I am a native and proud.”
