Starring Saba Mubarak and produced by Moez Masoud

An upcoming controversy over the movie “Princess” .. a bold topic from the heart of Palestine

Anticipation and an expected state of controversy awaits the screening of the movie "Princess" by the star Saba Mubarak, producer and preacher Moez Masoud, as the work was chosen to compete during the fifth session of the El Gouna Film Festival to participate in the feature film competition, to be the premiere of the Arab film.

Amira is scheduled to compete in the Afaq competition at the 78th Venice Film Festival.

Moez Masoud wrote, through his account on "Instagram": "I am happy with the first Arab screening of the movie (Princess), during the fifth session of the El Gouna Film Festival."

He added, "Once again, I congratulate the success partners, my friends, Mohamed Hefzy, Mohamed Diab, and all the work team. The film (Princess) is a touching human story about the life of a Palestinian girl. Its world premiere will be at the 78th Venice Film Festival."

The film is the first Palestinian work directed by an Egyptian, and critics expect the work to provoke controversy, because of its bold theme, as its events revolve around many issues that concern Palestine, through its heroine (Amira), whose role is embodied by the artist Saba Mubarak, a Palestinian who was born with a microscopic vaccination process after Smuggling "sperm" from her imprisoned father in Israeli prisons, and she goes through difficult circumstances to find out the truth behind her identity.

A group of Arab stars, most notably Saba Mubarak and Ali Suleiman, and young actress Tara Abboud in her first cinematic work, written by the trio Mohamed, Khaled and Sherine Diab, participate in the film.

"Princess" is Mohamed Diab's third film as a director after my films: "678", which was shown in 2010, and "Clash" 2016, which won more than 30 international awards.

And the movie “Amira” is a huge Arab co-production by Moez Masoud, and “Film Clinic” Mohamed Hefzy, in partnership with the Emirati “Studio” company, in partnership with “Al-Taher Media Production” Youssef Al-Taher and Rola Nasser.
