Joe Exotic is certain: his prostate cancer is getting worse and has even spread to his pelvis and stomach.
It is in any case the opinion of the doctors that the star of
Tiger King
was able to consult in the prison where he is imprisoned for having ordered the murder of Carole Baskin.
“I lose weight all the time and have pain in my hips and pelvis.
I limp when I walk.
And my stomach has been hurting for over a year, ”he told The
Sun
, adding that he had not received any treatment since May, when he revealed that he had cancer.
From now on, Joe Exotic is waiting for a colposcopy and an endoscopy which would allow a true diagnosis.
And depending on the result, he says he is ready to make a radical decision if his situation turns out to be as serious as he feels.
Desperate
“When we find out where it is and how serious it is, I will decide whether or not to accept the treatment.
If it's stage three or four, I'll let the cancer take me, ”continued Joe Exotic.
The situation therefore seems particularly desperate for Joe Exotic who claims his innocence and has been asking for a presidential pardon for many months.
His lawyer is also on the verge of obtaining a reduction of his sentence.
From the 22 years initially pronounced, Joe Exotic could see his sentence reduced to 17 years.
It therefore remains to be hoped that Joe Exotic will obtain a precise diagnosis as soon as possible which will allow him to be fixed on his fate.
