On August 14, Yangzhou City held the 16th press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.
Wang Jinsong, deputy director of the Yangzhou Municipal Health Commission, notified that on the 13th, 18 new cases of local new coronary pneumonia were confirmed in Yangzhou (including 1 case of mild type and 17 cases of ordinary type).
Wang Jinsong informed that up to now, Yangzhou City has reported a total of 528 confirmed cases and 4 cases have been discharged from the hospital.
Among them, at 24:00 on the 13th, a total of 243 confirmed cases were treated at the Third People’s Hospital of Yangzhou City, including 61 cases of light type, 166 cases of general type, 12 cases of severe type, and 4 cases of critical type; 281 confirmed cases are currently the second in Nanjing City. Hospital Tangshan District (Nanjing Public Health Medical Center) treated 43 cases of light type, 212 cases of normal type, 14 cases of severe type, and 12 cases of critical type.
All patients are under full treatment.
At the meeting, Wang Jinsong also announced the composition of the sources of new confirmed cases. From the sources, of the 18 new local confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Yangzhou on the 13th, 14 people were in the centralized isolation point and 4 people were screened in the community.
