• Last minute Coronavirus Spain live

Spain

closes the week with encouraging data.

The incidence has been reduced by 128.91 points, or what is the same, by 22%, in the last seven days.

Among young people the decline has been similar.

In the group between 12 and 19 years old, the most affected, the indicator has dropped 317.69 points, 24.1%;

and in those between 20 and 29 years old, 401.04 points, 30.1%.

Health has notified 15,657 new cases of

coronavirus

this Friday

(1,750 less than Thursday) and a

cumulative incidence

(AI) of 462.23 cases per 100,000 inhabitants (21 points lower than the previous day).

There has also been a decline in the daily number of deaths.

In the last 24 hours, 63 new ones have been communicated, 12 less than yesterday.

In total, there are already 82,470 people killed in

Spain

by

coronavirus

, according to the Ministry.

Hospitals have reduced their occupancy in the last seven days, but the change has not been drastic.

Last Friday, 8.48% of the total beds were occupied by

Covid

patients

, and today 7.92% are (down 6.6%).

In ICU, it has also barely decreased by 0.45%: falling from an occupancy of 20.87% to one of 20.78%.

In the last week, a total of

464 deaths

have been reported

.

Decreasing incidence

The

IA

Global is down from a

few days ago, largely by the drop in infections among young people.

The indicator for the most affected age group, between 12 and 19 years old, stands at 997.97 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, decreasing 46 points since Thursday.

The indicator for those between 20 and 29 years old, the second worst placed, also falls to 931.17 after falling 61 (in one week it has dropped by nearly 400 points).

The advance of vaccination is also playing a fundamental role.

This Friday 29,526,380 people in Spain have the complete schedule of the

anticovid

vaccine

(62.2% of the population) and 34,455,543 have at least one dose (72.6%).

Balearic Islands, the highest incidence

The regions most affected by the virus are still the

Balearic Islands

, with an AI of 619.18;

La Rioja (570.47),

Navarra

(536.00) and

the Basque Country

(530.56).

Asturias

(262.08),

Comunidad Valenciana

(387.06) and

Canarias

(388.20) are the ones with the lowest incidence, although their data have also been worsening in recent weeks.

Hospitals continue to free themselves, little by little.

This Friday there are 9,308 people admitted throughout Spain (170 less than yesterday), and the occupancy percentage drops 8% (7.92%).

The decrease in Intensive Care (

ICU

) is milder, with 1,922 patients in serious condition and 20.78% of the beds occupied (yesterday 20.79%).

The Catalan ICUs, to the limit

The

UCI

Catalan remain in a particularly difficult situation, with 44.39% occupancy.

Lower are those of

Madrid

(31.70%), the

Balearic Islands

(28.29%) and

Ceuta

(23.53%).

On the contrary,

Murcia

(6.48%),

Galicia

(7.88%),

Extremadura

(9.04%) and

Asturias

(10.40%) are the autonomous regions with the lowest ICU occupancy.

It must always be borne in mind that these percentages only contemplate patients admitted for coronavirus.

To calculate the real occupation, we must add those found there due to other pathologies and surgeries.

In

Europe

, Spain falls to third place in the incidence ranking.

The leaders are the

United Kingdom

(567.1) and

France

(477.1).

The most comfortable countries on the continent are, once again,

Poland

(5.7),

Romania

(15.1),

Czech Republic

(23.3),

Ukraine

(27.9) and

Germany

(52.9).
