  At 2:30 in the morning on August 12, the rainfall in Liulin Town of Suixian County increased. The town government urgently organized cadres to use loudspeakers to shout and knock on doors to transfer the masses. Rushed to the disaster-stricken area in Liulin Town, mobilized all parties to carry out emergency rescue, and evacuated more than 2,000 people from the disaster in Liulin Town.

  At the same time, the headquarters mobilized more than 380 professional rescue teams from firefighting, armed police, public security, and reserve services, and some towns and villages cadres to form four special teams to provide assistance to the Liulin Township Grain Management Office, health center, vegetable market, and low-lying areas in Xiajie. Emergency search and rescue operations were conducted in four key areas, and 78 people were rescued.

  There are more than 8,000 people affected by the disaster in Liulin Town. At present, one centralized resettlement site has been set up, 20 tents have been set up, and 550 beds have been set up.

In order to protect the daily lives of the affected people, the local area urgently transported instant noodles, bread, mineral water, masks and other materials.
