The veteran painter Zhan Jianjun, who is more than ancient and rare, is not old. He devoted himself to this theme creation with the high enthusiasm of his youth when he created "The Five Heroes of Langya Mountain".

The majestic composition, the artistic conception of lyric poetry, the imagery modeling, the freehand brushwork, the expressive color, and the musical rhythm of Zhan Jianjun's oil paintings are all embodied in this work.

  Wu Weishan, director of the National Art Museum of China and vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Association, believes that the spirit of the Yellow River is composed of two parts: one is formed by the Yellow River itself, and the other is created by the Chinese people who govern the Yellow River. The National Art Museum of China meticulously planned this exhibition, displaying classic art works on the Yellow River theme created by several generations of artists since the Anti-Japanese War.

  The exhibition is divided into 3 chapters:

  The first chapter, "Water from the Yellow River Comes from the Sky", tries to present a natural form of the Yellow River. The theme is quoted from the poetry of the Tang Dynasty romantic poet Li Bai in "Jiang Jinjiu": "The water of the Yellow River is coming up from the sky, rushing to the sea never to return. ", exhibited 52 representative works of famous artists such as Han Leran, He Haixia, Guan Shanyue, Liqun, Franciscans, Zhu Naizheng, Jin Shangyi.

  The second chapter "The Times of the Yellow River" attempts to present a historical river. The theme is taken from Chairman Mao Zedong's "We must do well in the Yellow River". It exhibits Qian Songyan, Situ Qiao, Xie Ruijie, Fu Baoshi, There are 31 masterpieces by famous artists such as Zhao Wangyun, Li Hua, Wu Zuoren, Liu Xian, and Wu Guan.

  The third chapter, "The Soul of the Yellow River Casts the Spirit", aims to show a spiritual form of the Yellow River. The theme comes from the well-known phrases of the "Yellow River Cantata": "The wind is roaring, the horse is roaring, the Yellow River is roaring, and the Yellow River is roaring" and "defend" Hometown! Defend the Yellow River! Defend North China! Defend all of China!” Exhibited Yan Han, Shi Shaohua, Gu Yuan, Shi Lu, Gao Fan, An Zhengzhong, Yao Zhonghua, Zhong Han, Zhou Shaohua, Zhan Jianjun, Du Jian, He E, Shang Yang 48 representative works by famous artists such as Wang Yingchun, Yang Lizhou, Wu Weishan and so on.
