Do you want to buy a house when you get married?

Can you accept renting a house to get married?

According to the latest "Report on Marriage House Purchases in 2021" released by 58.com and Anjuke, 63.2% of people said they were unwilling to accept rental marriages, and 76.6% of those who were single did not accept rental marriages.

The report is based on a survey conducted by 58.com and Anjuke on men and women in 20 cities (first-tier and some second-tier cities) who are interested in buying and have bought a wedding house between 20 and 40 years old.

In terms of different cities, first-tier cities are more accepting of renting marriages than new first-tier cities. Among them, Guangzhou chooses to accept renting marriages accounted for 63.5%; while in Chongqing and Suzhou, over 80 adults said they would not accept renting marriages.

At the same time, the proportion of young people in first-tier cities for new homes in marriage houses is 14.4 percentage points lower than that in new first-tier cities, and 25.0% of young people in Beijing do not care whether the marriage houses are new or not.

"The main reason is that housing prices are high in first-tier cities. From the actual situation, if you can't afford a house in the short term, you can rent a house and get married first. Of course, after you have children, you still want to buy a house." said Ms. Zhao, who works in Tianhe, Guangzhou.

Zhang Bo, Dean of 58 Anju Guest House Industry Research Institute, pointed out that buying a house or renting a house for marriage is also divided among different cities. Generally speaking, the proportion of marriages in first-tier cities is increasing. This is also in line with the state's focus on solving the housing problem in big cities. Ensuring the supply of rental housing is closely related.

In terms of price, the report shows that wedding rooms with a total price of 1 to 2 million yuan are more popular among young people, with 45.6% of young people interviewed focusing on this.

The report pointed out that young people in first-tier cities are more accepting of the price of marriage. The proportion of people who choose a marriage house with a total price of 3 to 5 million yuan accounts for 33.2%, which is more than twice that of new first-tier cities (16.1%).

For this large expenditure, research shows that 10.5% of young people buy a house in full, while more people lock in their monthly payment at about 30% of their household income.

On the whole, nearly 60% of the young people interviewed said that the male party paid the full amount or provided a down payment for the wedding house. 32.6% of the people were willing to share the cost of both parties. Women were willing to buy a wedding house together, accounting for more than men.

At the same time, the majority of respondents who choose to write the names of both parties on the real estate certificate of the marriage house and regard it as joint property after marriage still account for 81.8%.

In terms of the types of wedding houses, the three-bedroom practical wedding houses are even more impressed by young people. More than 50% of the young people surveyed tend to use three-bedroom houses as wedding houses, and they hope to buy two-bedroom and four-bedroom houses. At about 20%.
