The

Toledo

City Council

, governed by the socialist Milagros Tolón, has decided to withdraw the poster that announces the performance of the singer

Zahara

, scheduled for next September 3.

Vox has requested this Wednesday the withdrawal of the poster and also the

cancellation of the concert

because it considers that the image that the advertising poster reproduces is an "attack on the religious freedom of the majority of Toledo" and supposes an "extreme offense" to the image de la Virgen, in the words of the party's municipal spokesperson, María de los Ángeles Ramos.

On the poster you can see the artist from Úbeda with a baby in her arms, a luminous disk on her head that emulates the halo, and a shoulder bag with

the word 'Puta' embroidered on it

, which is the title of her latest album.

"If they finally do not act against this attack, they will show that we are facing the most totalitarian, sectarian and rancid left that has passed through the Toledo City Council," Vox warned this morning through its spokesman.

"The people of Toledo cannot allow this fact to be ignored," he declared.

The concert is a private event that is part of the Toledo Alive cycle.

The municipal government has agreed to hide the poster, but has maintained the action, for which there are still tickets for sale.

It will be held, God willing, in the city's Bullring.
