On August 10th, the Guangzhou Qin and Han Archaeological Achievements Exhibition opened at the National Museum.

This exhibition gathers more than 330 pieces (sets) of Qin and Han archaeological relics unearthed in Guangzhou, including various precious cultural relics unearthed from the tomb of the Nanyue King, the Nanyue Palace and other Qin and Han archaeological sites in Guangzhou. It reflects the great achievements of Guangzhou's archaeological work in recent years.

The tomb of the Nanyue King in Xianggang is the largest, richest, and earliest colored stone chamber tomb discovered in the Lingnan area. It is one of the major discoveries in the archaeology of the Han Dynasty in China.

The Nanyue Palace site is one of the typical examples of early Chinese palaces discovered by archaeology. It is of great value for exploring the early Chinese history and culture, especially the history of ancient cities, architecture, and crafts in the Lingnan area.
