The Russian vaccine, like Russian tourists, is still barred from entering Europe.

The European Union refuses to register Sputnik V, although the drug has proven its effectiveness not only at home, but also abroad.

It would seem that the end of summer, the first summer after quarantines and lockdowns, could already be written about something else.

For example, about the successful opening of borders, the full resumption of the work of international conferences, festivals and such already necessary mass concerts.

But no.

The authorities of the Republic of San Marino and the Roman National Institute of Infectious Diseases have released a study that confirms the quality of the Russian vaccine.

The data is based on observation of more than 5 thousand people after the first and second doses of the vaccine.

Antibodies were released in 99% of cases.

San Marino is not a member of the EU, and now the republic obviously plays into the hands of this.

Two-thirds of the population received both doses of Sputnik V, the first shipment of which was delivered in February.

It turns out that in six months the state was able to achieve results that European countries still only dream of.

Only Malta and Iceland can boast such vaccination rates.

The rest of Europe is only catching up to 50% of the number of fully vaccinated.

In my opinion, the variability in the choice of drug for the prevention of coronavirus could greatly accelerate the formation of herd immunity and would increase the speed of vaccination.

This means that it would subsequently protect against the appearance (or at least slow down the spread) of new strains of the virus.

The desire to quickly say goodbye to the formidable virus is not enough, the mind should also work in the general mobilization in the fight against COVID-19. Which, apparently, not all of the decision-makers can boast. By the way, the topic “Why successful people make mistakes” is often of interest to researchers.

The delay in the registration process for the Russian vaccine in the EU also hits financial indicators, because the refusal to authorize Sputnik V affects the tourist flow, and therefore automatically on the economies of the countries. Why, then, is the world behaving so childishly: it is stupid not to let the Russian drug into Europe. This decision no longer seems to be solely related to business, for example, to maintain a monopoly on alternative drugs. Indeed, in such a matter as money, and even more so in people's lives, emotions cannot prevail. Although, apparently, the human factor plays a role here as well. There are no perfect people.

The unwillingness to cooperate and recognize our products is completely politically motivated.

This could save hundreds, thousands of lives, but the EU does not want to recognize the strength of the Russian Federation.

By all means, the leaders of many Western countries are rejecting, rejecting cooperation with our scientists, immunologists and virologists.

This, you know, is how people with low self-esteem and distorted self-perceptions offend others.

It seems to them that the more they stifle those around them, the less noticeable their own vices will be - against the background of someone else's horror.

Recognition of our success in preventing coronavirus equals recognition of a strong leader. Plus, again, only in my opinion, many of the governments are trying to think ahead - when COVID-19 goes away, cooperation with the Russian Federation will not go anywhere. Or, on the contrary, they were stuck in outdated installations from the past, when there was still no coronavirus and on the world stage it was possible to behave like a careless teenager. Somewhere he kicked, pinched and pulled sharply, not thinking about the consequences. Only the consequences here are crisis and death.

Of particular interest is the temporary decision of Italy regarding the residents of San Marino, who were almost isolated due to vaccination with the Russian vaccine.

There, visiting restaurants, museums, cinemas and theaters is possible only with a "health passport" with information about the vaccine supplied and approved in the EU.

And what about the same part of the San Marino population that was vaccinated with "Sputnik V"?

The Italian government decided to let such people into its territory, but only until October 15.
