On the night of the 11th, a woman with a knife stuck in her neck was found in the parking lot of a convenience store in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and she died afterwards.

Police have arrested a Turkish man who claims to be the husband of a woman near the scene on suspicion of murder and are investigating the details.

Around 7:30 pm on the 11th, the police were notified that "a knife is stuck in the neck of a woman" at the parking lot of a convenience store in Shimokawai-cho, Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture.



Police rushed to the scene and found a woman with a knife stuck in her neck, bleeding and lying down, after which she was confirmed dead.



Police arrested him on suspicion of murder, including admitting that Turkish national Kuru Memet, who claims to be the husband of a woman in a convenience store, had stabbed him (29).

According to police, just before the report, Memet was seen riding with a woman in a car parked in the parking lot, and blood stains were found inside the car.



Police are rushing to find out more about the woman's identity.
