While populations are increasingly aware of the issue of mental illness through testimonies and works of fiction evoking pathologies such as schizophrenia, high-level autism or depression, the general public can still have an image incorrectly supported.

Publicity

The treatment of many of these psychiatric pathologies is still the subject of fantasies, fears and taboos which are a source of great suffering and stigmatization of patients and their relatives and can lead to harmful delays in care.

Better knowledge and better understanding of these diseases and the possibilities for treatment is essential.
