Miraculous.
A calf had escaped while being taken to the slaughterhouse in Feurs (Loire) last Thursday.
In the process, defenders of the animal cause launched a petition calling to "save this courageous cow" which collected more than 22,000 signatures and opened a pot to collect 1,000 euros as reimbursement for the slaughterhouse.
A sufficient sum for the Brigitte-Bardot Foundation to cover it.
Étienne, the little bull escaped from a slaughterhouse, has just been recovered by the Brigitte Bardot foundation and will be transported to a cattle shelter in Normandy.

As promised, this Wednesday, Etienne (that's the name of the animal) was taken to one of the partner pensions of Seine-Maritime, set up with retired farmers, explains France Bleu Loire: “He is very wisely climbed into the transport truck, without making any difficulties, even if he was a little shy at the start ”.
It is true that going from the invigorating climate of Forez to the Norman rain can be a bit scary.
But freedom comes at this price.
