I note to "Emirates Today" that the idea of ​​the "Pop City" project came to him during a conversation with a friend, who was returning from Beirut, "the home of the ice cream", where he tasted the original (ice cream) ice cream, which he describes as "not similar to other ice creams." Ice cream made of natural fruits, which was made with love by hand, and cooled with ice tubes, to give the same fruit taste.”

And Anwahi continued: “Then my friend told me to enter the world of ice cream industry, and enjoy the taste of every piece of frozen fruit that you put under your tongue. Fresh frozen fruit pieces were the beginning of the ice cream project (Pop City), as we opened a small shop in Lebanon in 2015. When he was able to learn the craftsmanship and basics of making fresh organic ice cream free of preservatives from its original home, Beirut, he decided to transfer it to the country with the same high quality that it was known for in Beirut.”

He added: “We first started making ice cream through a small factory, where we buy fresh, high-quality fruits, such as strawberry, pineapple, mango, kiwi and other fruits, in addition to introducing other flavors, such as cocoa, vanilla and cheesecake, to start the process of making ice cream after Fresh fruits pass through many stages through which natural ice cream is made with a delicious taste.” The process of making ice cream begins, as Anouhi explains, “from the stage of washing and drying the fruits, and then the cutting stage, after which the product is prepared in terms of mixing, cooling, and pouring into molds, Then cooling, and the quality of the product is checked and monitored according to the approved standards, and finally the packaging stage begins, where the product is wrapped in a special plastic wrap that does not interact with the product, and then it is placed in an airtight refrigerator at a temperature of -20 degrees Celsius.

Anwahi continued: “We have opened 12 branches in the country, another factory in Egypt, and a branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and we have received a great demand, especially this year, especially in individual occasions, weddings and family gatherings, where we market our product through social networking sites, and receive requests To buy thousands of packages of ice cream a day.”

Anwahi said that the project that he implemented "was able to achieve good success despite the difficulties it has faced since the start of the project inside the country, as it prepares in the coming period to expand by opening new branches in the GCC countries."
