The Hong Kong 2021 Election Committee elections will be held in September 2021.
The election nomination period starts on August 6 and ends on August 12.
August 7 is the second day of the nomination period. Candidates from various sectors submit their forms to the Government Secretariat, including those in the entertainment industry.
In the morning, Zeng Zhiwei, who is also a director of the China Overseas Friendship Association, waited to the government headquarters to register for the election.
During the interview, Zeng Zhiwei pointed out that he hopes that the future Chief Executive and Legislative Council members of the Special Administrative Region can obey public opinion and strive to solve the housing and employment problems in Hong Kong.
He also expressed the hope that Hong Kong's entertainment industry can receive more support, and that the entertainment industry can drive the "positive energy" of Hong Kong society.
