With 136 new admissions in 24 hours, critical care welcomed 1,510 patients with Covid-19 on Saturday against 1,458 on Friday and 1,099 a week ago.

This indicator had fallen below the threshold of 1,000 on July 7, before starting to rise.

The number of hospitalizations rose to 8,425 on Saturday against 8,368 the day before, with 482 new admissions since Friday.

In the last 24 hours, 32 patients have died in hospitals against 60 on Friday and 52 on Thursday.

The Covid has caused 112,222 deaths in France since the start of the pandemic in spring 2020.

66.2% of the population with at least one injection

The health authorities report 25,755 new cases of Covid detected in 24 hours against 25,077 the day before and 23,471 last Saturday.

The positivity rate is 4.2%.

On the vaccination side, since the start of the campaign in France, 44,655,607 people have received at least one injection (i.e. 66.2% of the total population) and 37,153,307 people now have a complete vaccination schedule (i.e. 55.1% of the total population).
