China News Service, Zhangzhou, August 7 (Liu Xianlin) At around 16:50 on August 5, Typhoon Lubi made landfall on the coast of Dongshan County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province for the second time, becoming the first typhoon to reach Fujian in 2021.

As of 10 a.m. on August 6th, China Telecom Zhangzhou Branch has dispatched a total of 189 emergency repair personnel, 102 communications emergency repair vehicles, and 125 generators. The disaster-stricken Zhangzhou network has been basically restored, and other communications emergency repairs are in progress after the disaster. Orderly development.

According to a report from the Fujian Meteorological Observatory, at 5 o'clock on August 6, Typhoon Lubi weakened into a tropical depression, and the impact of wind and rain on Fujian should not be underestimated.

The bureau adjusted the major meteorological disaster (typhoon) level III emergency response to heavy rain level II at 8 o'clock on the 6th.

Lin Jinsong, chief forecaster of the Fujian Meteorological Observatory, revealed in an interview with the media that "Lu Bi" has an obvious eccentric structure, weak wind near the center, strong wind on the east and northeast sides, obvious inverted troughs of typhoons along the central and northern coast of Fujian, and superimposed topographical cooperation. The slow moving speed makes the rain last longer and the accumulated rainfall is large.

Until the 8th, the wind and rain caused by typhoon "Lu Bi" will basically be lifted.

Meteorological experts reminded that ships sailing or operating in the waters affected by the typhoon should return to the port for shelter in time; coastal aquaculture facilities need to be reinforced in advance to prevent the hazards of strong winds and huge waves; coastal scenic spots and island-related tourism need to strengthen safety management.

Also pay attention to prevent secondary disasters such as mountain torrents, urban and rural waterlogging, floods and landslides in small and medium-sized basins, and mudslides that may be caused by heavy rainfall.
