As the planet continues its battle against the Covid-19 pandemic, another reality has come this summer to shake up populations and states: the consequences of climate change.

Across the world, climatic disasters are multiplying and taking different forms between the countries of the North and the South: in Europe, for example, Greece and Turkey are facing spectacular fires while Germany, Belgium and the The Netherlands suffered the brunt of devastating flooding. For experts, there is no doubt: this wave of bad weather is a concrete illustration of climate change.

Faced with these extreme phenomena, the international community has no other choice than to support the fight against global warming. Delegates from 195 countries, for example, approved the new forecasts by UN climate experts (IPCC) on Friday. However, they will not be revealed until Monday, announced the IPCC on Twitter. This report comes three months before the UN COP26 climate conference in Glasgow, Scotland, which is crucial for the future of humanity.
