Cyber security expert Zack Duffman has warned users of the “Facebook Messenger” application, “Messenger”, of its danger, asking them to urgently delete it from Android and iPhone phones, in order to avoid significant damage to billions of users around the world.

The warnings were related to delaying the security warning and not using the encryption feature, from exploiting children in immoral acts or even pushing them to use certain games that may lead to catastrophic consequences, and many harmful messages that naturally pass without being detected by Facebook due to the absence of the entire conversation encryption feature, and he added. "Messenger users should switch their personal conversations to WhatsApp or Signal and leave the app immediately in order to protect themselves and their children," Dofman said.
And the cybersecurity expert concluded that the user should make sure that Messenger is not used as a default messaging system in the case of Android phones, where switching from the default operating system is one of the options unlike the iOS operating system, and review messages and conversations well.
