The Zayed Center for Studies and Research of the Emirates Heritage Club organized, the day before yesterday, a virtual symposium on the occasion of the historical anniversary of the sitting of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Aref Sheikh, writer and researcher in local history, and writer d. Fatima Al-Mansoori, Director of the Zayed Center for Studies and Research, confirmed at the beginning of the symposium that what gives exceptional importance to the historical anniversary of the sitting of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, is its coincidence this year with the country's celebration of the fiftieth year and preparations to celebrate the golden jubilee, noting that the sixth of August It constitutes an important turning point in the course of the modern history of the state, and that everyone can today feel the effects of this important history in everything around us.

While Youssef Al-Hassan talked about the challenges of the emergence of the modern state and the role and personality traits of the founding leader in politics and governance, and said that the modernization achievement of the United Arab Emirates was achieved over 55 years, during which the state was the main force for modernization.

Aref Al-Sheikh spoke about the axis of education, stressing the importance of documenting the history of education in the UAE as an important part of the country's development process.

As for Gwenty Maitra, she addressed in her speech the factors that contributed to the formation of the unique leadership personality of the late Sheikh Zayed, where she shed light on the impact of his upbringing and the surrounding environment in making his biography as a great leader and person who cared about human freedom and equality among all people.

While Khasibeh Al Yamahi discussed the experience of the Federal National Council in the Emirates, which she described as an important station in the political development of the country, and stated that the late saw that the Federal National Council had an important place in the consolidation of democratic practice.

For his part, Khaled Al Balushi spoke about health care during the era of the late, saying that Sheikh Zayed focused mainly on building the human being, with his full conviction that the individual is the real wealth and is the basis of renaissance and civilization.
