Shamma Al Mazrouei: In the UAE, we do not believe in such a thing as the impossible
Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Vice President of the Arab Youth Center, Shamma bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrouei, called on the youth of the Emirates to take advantage of all programs to develop themselves, their experiences and capabilities, in order to achieve the ambition of the wise leadership that is betting on Emirati youth, and the world is proud of it.
She said during a virtual meeting with more than 200 young people participating in the "Mawhibatna" initiative, within the activities of the virtual summer camp 2021, in cooperation with the Center for Gifted Youth at Johns Hopkins University: "We in the UAE do not believe in something called impossible.
We trust the capabilities and energies of our youth. We bet on you, and you are the ones who compete and brag about you in the world over the next 50 years,” noting the importance of this initiative, which seeks to enhance the skills of more than 500 young men and women in various vital sectors.
Al Mazrouei praised Sandooq Al Watan, saying: "This fund is one of the most important bodies specialized in preparing a generation of national leaders, who will lead us to great achievements... Every year Sandooq Al Watan fascinates us with its qualitative and distinctive initiatives," pointing to the importance of the "Mawhibatna" initiative. In developing and refining the skills of young men and women of the country.
And she continued: “Today, we are in a race with the world to develop ourselves, and it is very important to us when compared to young people abroad that our youth are among the best.
I want you to become a role model in various fields, and to compete with the best specialists in your fields. Your participation in this initiative is the first step in the race for self-development that does not stop at a certain age.”
The Director General of the Fund, Hend Baqer, said: "Young people are the main pillar of the development of society, and they are the means through which all sectors are upgraded to achieve the vision of the UAE leadership in reaching the first places in the world, and from here comes the great interest that the Fund attaches to this most important category in society And he is constantly working on innovating initiatives that contribute to the development of their knowledge and capabilities, in line with the requirements and needs of the future.”
