Almost a month after the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse at his home on July 7, 2021, the Port-au-Prince prosecutor's office finally referred the case to the investigating cabinet on Wednesday August 4, 2021. An examining magistrate must now be designated.

A case with international ramifications which represents a real challenge, according to the editor of Le

  • Anti-Covid vaccines made in Chile

Chile is expected to start producing Sinovac vaccines against Covid-19 as early as next year (2022).

The Chinese pharmaceutical company and the Chilean authorities confirmed, Wednesday, August 4, 2021, the construction of a factory and a scientific research center in the country.

Nearly 60 million doses of vaccine could thus be produced in Chile each year.

The plant is expected to start operating in March or April 2022.

  • When the Americans resign with a vengeance

If things seemed to be going better on the employment front in the United States, the numbers of job creation in the private sector in July 2021 came to remind Joe Biden's America that there is still a long way to go.

These creations are down sharply, well below forecasts.

330,000 jobs created in July against 680,000 in June 2021, raising fears of a pause in the economic recovery.

Could this be explained by the number of Americans who have chosen to give up their posts in recent months?

In May 2021, a record was reached: 4 million people resigned.

Unheard of in 20 years, since statistics have existed.
