China News Service Baise, August 4 (Yang Zhixiong, Chen Renbao) According to the China Earthquake Network, 4.8 occurred in Debao County (23.38 degrees north latitude, 106.71 degrees east longitude) in Baise City, Guangxi at 19:12 on August 4th, Beijing time. A magnitude earthquake with a focal depth of 10 kilometers.

  After the earthquake, the Seismological Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region immediately initiated emergency response services and dispatched an earthquake site work team to the earthquake site.

The Emergency Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Earthquake Administration of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region had an emergency consultation and organized fire rescue forces to go to the scene for rescue and disposal.

  According to the official introduction of Debao County, after the earthquake, Debao County immediately launched an emergency plan, held an emergency dispatch meeting, organized earthquake, emergency and other emergency committee member units and twelve towns to organize the masses to avoid danger and carry out investigation work, and urgently assembled emergency response. The team prepared for duty, proceeded to check the emergency material reserves, and fully implemented the follow-up and monitoring measures.

At present, the investigation work is being carried out in an orderly manner. As of 19:57 on August 4, the county has not received reports of casualties, building collapses, infrastructure damage, and abnormal geological disasters.

  After the earthquake, Debao County felt a strong earthquake, and people in Nanning, Chongzuo, Hechi and other places in Guangxi said they felt the earthquake.
