The Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office said on the 4th that the secretaries of two members of the House of Representatives of the Komeito Party were suspected of being involved in the case of illegally mediating a loan from a financial institution. We found out by interviewing the people concerned that we searched the office of the First Members' Office Building.

The people who were searched for were the offices of members of the House of Representatives Nobuhiro Yoshida and Masataka Ota, both of whom are from the Komeito Party, in the First Members' Office Building of the House of Representatives in Nagata-cho, Tokyo.

According to the people concerned, there was a case of violation of the Money Lending Business Act, which allegedly mediated a loan from a government-affiliated financial institution without registration, and it is suspected that the secretaries of two lawmakers were also involved in this case.

The Special Investigation Department also searched for a consultant company in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, which is represented by Kiyohiko Toyama, a former member of the House of Representatives of the Komeito Party.

The Special Investigation Department is expected to analyze the materials seized in the search to clarify the actual situation of the loan and the secretaries' involvement in the case.
