Those of a country, Sweden and its capital Stockholm, that we imagine quiet and without history.
In reality, the country is experiencing an unprecedented wave of violence.
And it is not a simple news item mounted in hairpin.
Sociologists have observed an unprecedented rise in shootings, on average one per day over the past year.
This is precisely the reverse trend of all the other European countries.

Yesterday (June 8, 2021), the police announced 250 arrests in Sweden and Finland, as part of the fight against organized crime linked to drug trafficking.
