In response to this, Fujian officials requested the evacuation of offshore fishing boats in some sea areas and deployed the closure of scenic spots in the coastal area.

  At 8 o'clock on the 3rd, the tropical depression in the South China Sea was located in the offshore waters of the northern part of the South China Sea, about 490 kilometers southwest of Dongshan, with a central wind speed of 15 meters per second.

According to the Fujian Meteorological Bureau, the tropical depression is moving eastward and northeastward at a speed of 10 km/h, and its intensity is gradually increasing. It may develop into a typhoon in the next 24 hours, the strongest reaching tropical storm level or severe tropical storm level. , Is expected to pass or land on the coast from eastern Guangdong to southern Fujian on the 5th, and then move into the East China Sea.

  In the face of the impact of this tropical depression on Fujian, the official requirement is that before 12:00 on the 4th, offshore fishing vessels located in the fishing grounds outside Fujian must be evacuated to the waters west of 125 degrees east longitude; before 18:00 on the 4th, they are located in the Taiwan Shoal Fishing Grounds and the Southern Fujian Fishing Grounds. All offshore fishing boats in He Minzhong Fishing Ground must come to the nearest port for shelter; before 18:00 on the 5th, all offshore fishing boats located in the Mindong Fishing Ground and Diaoyu Island waters must come to the nearest port for shelter.

  In addition, Fujian officials also require all personnel on the coastal aquaculture fishing rafts in Zhangzhou City, Quanzhou City, Putian City, and Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone to be evacuated and landed. Coastal passenger ferry routes must be suspended in accordance with passenger ferry restrictions; Construction sites in coastal areas, offshore construction work platforms, ports and docks and scenic spots in the coastal area, and offshore tourism activities on outlying islands will be closed.
