Recently, the Qinling Giant Panda Research Center (Shaanxi Province Rare Wildlife Rescue Base) giant panda "Yaya" gave birth to a pair of dragon and phoenix cubs. The female cubs have a birth weight of 137g and the male is 110g. The twins are well developed, and the mother and child are safe.

The giant panda "Yaya" was born in 2009 and has been involved in breeding and pairing since 2017, and has suffered miscarriages for three consecutive years.

It is not easy for "Yaya" to successfully give birth. It is another successful case explored by the giant panda breeding technicians in a series of breeding problems. It solves the key problems of clinical diagnosis and treatment and prevention of dystocia in giant pandas, marking the Qinling Mountains. Giant panda breeding technology has been continuously improved and matured.

This year, the center has successfully bred 3 litters and 4 cubs of giant pandas, and the population has reached 36.
