It is noteworthy that this activity was not limited to the strong return of concerts, and the revival of cinema, the dramatic production also witnessed a similar state of activity, and although most of the works being produced and filmed in the current period are related to presentation through digital platforms, and although the next month of Ramadan is still far away. However, part of these works, their makers, announced that they will be shown in Ramadan 2022, in the hope of completing them early, for fear of delay, whether due to new waves of infection with the “Covid-19” virus, or because the heroes of these works are preoccupied with other heroes.

It is noticeable that most of these works are new parts of works that were previously presented in the dramatic season of Ramadan in previous years, and met with great success.

Ramadan kareem

Among these works is the series “Ramadan Kareem 2,”, the first part of which was presented in Ramadan in 2017, where director Sameh Abdel Aziz announced preparations to start filming next October, while scriptwriter Ahmed Abdullah continues to write episodes, and new artists are being nominated. To participate in the new series, while the artist Salah Abdullah was chosen as a replacement for the late artist Mahmoud Al-Jundi.

A large number of artists participated in the first part of the series, including: Ruby, Sherif Salama, Reham Abdel Ghafour, Sayed Ragab, Naglaa Badr, Muhammad Lotfi, Sabri Fawaz, and others.

"Counterattack"

While the makers of the series “A counterattack”, which was shown last Ramadan, announced the presentation of a second part of it, and mentioned this at the end of the first part, where the phrase “Goodbye in” a counterattack 2 “from the intelligence file” was written, but things did not happen. It is yet clear, and the artists participating in it have not been officially announced, especially with the artist Ahmed Ezz, the hero of the first part, denying his participation in any dramas in the next Ramadan, pointing out that he does not prefer to appear in the Ramadan season every year. Recent reports indicate that the artist Amir Karara contracted the work championship, and held work sessions with the author of the work, Baher Dowidar, who previously collaborated with him on “Kalbash” and “The Choice,” and director Ahmed Nader Galal.

The makers of the series “The Choice”, which lists some of the heroisms of the Egyptian police in the face of terrorists, also announced the presentation of a third part next Ramadan, but so far the heroes of the new part have not been officially announced, and there were rumors of assigning the championship to the artist Ahmed Ezz, But he denied this.

While other, unofficial reports, indicated that the artist Ahmed El Sakka contracted to star in the work, but it has not been confirmed so far.

The second part, which was shown in Ramadan 2021, was a great success, starring the artist Karim Abdel Aziz and the artist Ahmed Makki, and it dealt with the events of the Rabaa sit-in dispersal.

The return of "Big Oy"

And in a pleasant surprise for fans of the series “Al Kabeer Awi”, the artist Ahmed Makki announced the presentation of the sixth part of the series in Ramadan 2022, after an absence of six years, and the artist Asmaa Abu Al-Yazid was contracted to play the role of the gift of the wife of Al Kabir, which is the role that the artist Donia was playing. Samir Ghanem in the previous parts, but she will not be able to participate in the new part, due to the health conditions that her mother, artist Dalal Abdel Aziz, is going through.

It was also announced that the artists Mustafa Shaaban and Amr Saad had contracted with producer Sadiq Al-Sabah to present a second part of the series "The Kings of Al-Jada'ana" in Ramadan 2022, after the success of the first part that was shown last Ramadan, and it was written by a workshop under the supervision of Abeer Suleiman, and directed by Ahmed Khaled Moussa.

And co-starring Yasmine Rais, Dalal Abdel Aziz, Rania Youssef, and Amr Abdel Jalil.

Apart from the series of parts, the artist Majed Al-Masry announced his preparation for a new series entitled “Pablo” to be shown next Ramadan, written by Hassan Dahshan, directed by Ibrahim Fakhr, and consisting of 30 episodes revolving in a framework of action and suspense, pointing out that so far, no selection has been made. The rest of the artists who will be involved in the work.
