Two Arab countries top the list of a global index of “negative feelings” in 2020

Iraq, then Lebanon, topped the list of countries whose residents feel negative feelings, according to a poll conducted by the American “Gallup” global polling and research organization, for the year 2020.

Gallup said in a report carried by "Russia Today" that "no one felt more sadness, anger, anxiety or tension alone last year, but that the whole world was feeling the worst of what he had gone through 15 years ago, as the global index of negative feelings reached to a new high of 32 in 2020.”

The report confirmed that the year 2020 has officially become the most stressful year in modern history.

Iraqis topped the world's people in terms of suffering pain (56%), anger (51%) and sadness (50%).

No other country, according to the report, scored a negative experience index score higher than Iraq, but people in countries and regions with high scores in the index in 2020 were dealing with economic and political turmoil, and the best example of this is Lebanon, which ranked second in The Negative Experience Index was at the forefront of the index during the past two years.
