On the evening of July 31, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province held a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic. Wang Songqiang, director of the Zhengzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention, announced that the Sixth People’s Hospital of Zhengzhou is a designated hospital imported from abroad and reported local cases on July 30. Subsequently, the number of reported cases continued to increase.
The epidemic mainly occurred inside the hospital, and the people involved included cleaning staff and medical staff, showing a state of local spread.
The outbreak of the epidemic has not only adversely affected the control of hospital feelings caused by heavy rains, but also exposed a few hospitals that have certain loopholes in implementing control of hospital feelings. All localities and units must do a solid job in epidemic prevention and control.
