On July 31, according to the Meteorological Department’s report, due to the combined effects of the remnant circulation of the typhoon "Fireworks" and the short wave trough in the westerly zone, 1348 of the 1673 weather stations in Liaoning Province had rainfall, with an average rainfall of 7.9 mm.

According to water resources news, due to precipitation, some rivers have experienced a process of rising water.

A total of 10 reservoirs in Liaoning Province exceeded the flood limit. As of now, 4967 people have been transferred to avoid danger in this round of heavy rainfall.

  In Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province, the overall rainfall is not large, and short-term torrential rains made the entire city enveloped by inflamed rain and fog.

There is a small amount of stagnant water on some roads in the city.

The hot and sweltering weather for several days has eased.

  The Meteorological Department predicts that from the night of July 31st to August 1st, strong convective weather will occur in the western part of northeastern Liaoning. Take care to prevent the effects of short-term heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.

The Meteorological Department recommends that attention be paid to the impact of lightning on air transportation; to prevent casualties and equipment losses that may be caused by lightning.

Prevent the impact of instantaneous high winds on high-altitude operations, water operations, facility agriculture and maritime navigation; prevent building collapses, falling objects and electric shocks caused by high winds.

Prevent the adverse effects of hail on outdoor objects, crops, fruits and vegetables and agricultural facilities.

Soil-saturated areas need to clear the ditches in advance to prevent farmland waterlogging and crop lodging caused by heavy rainfall and instantaneous strong winds.
