Actor Park Seo-joon's appearance in Marvel movies is being made official

On the 30th, casting information for the Marvel movie 'The Marvels' was uploaded to IMDb, the largest movie database in the United States.

In the cast list, Seo-Jun Park is ranked fourth after Brie Larson, Reign Ashton, and Teyonah Paris.

After Park Seo-joon, one of the main characters, Iman Bellani, who plays the role of 'Ms. Marvel', is on the list, so it can be expected that the proportion of the role played by Park Seo-joon is not small.

'The Marvels' is the sequel to 'Captain Marvel', which was released in 2019.

'Captain Marvel' is Marvel's first female superhero movie, and has attracted 5.8 million viewers in Korea.

Park Seo-joon's appearance has been rumored since last June. At the time, Park Seo-joon's agency revealed the position of 'no comment', not positive or negative, and amplified the curiosity. Marvel is famous for its strict security of information on work and casting. When signing a contract with an actor, strictly specify the prohibition of external leakage.

Director Nia Dacosta, who directed 'The Marvels', also drew attention when she posted a picture of Park Seo-joon along with a picture of "Drama Boyfriend" on social media in the past.

When Park Seo-joon's appearance in 'The Marbles' becomes official, attention is being paid to what kind of role he will play. On this day, the American film media 'Screen Rant' said, "'Captain Marvel 2' centers on the story of three female superheroes with the court name 'Marvel', but the popular Korean drama star Park Seo-joon can join as the fourth Marvel-related hero. "Park Seo-joon is expected to play 'Amadeus Joe', a Korean-American teenage hero. There is a high possibility that he will play a major hero or villain."

'Amadeus Cho' is portrayed as a Korean-American with a brilliant brain. He is regarded as the most successful Asian sidekick in the comics, and he is also the son of 'Helen Cho', played by actor Suhyeon in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.

Park Seo-joon is currently filming the movie 'Concrete Utopia'. It is expected that he will move to the US in the second half of this year and join the filming of 'The Marbles'.

'The Marvels' is scheduled to be released in November 2022.
