He returned to the interview after he withdrew in protest.. Amr Khaled: I have matured after the chicken announcement, and I will not return to the advertisements!

Egyptian preacher Amr Khaled withdrew from the "Mubasher Question" program today on Al-Arabiya channel in protest of some questions that the program's announcer, Khaled Al-Madkhali, asked him.

The well-known preacher had tried in the episode, which was broadcast a while ago, to evade many of the questions that the broadcaster surrounded him with, specifically about his relationship with the banned "Brotherhood" group, and his position on the Egyptian January revolution, as he was one of the instigators of the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak.

Khaled tried to evade all the questions that revolve around his previous and subsequent political orientations, claiming that he wanted to talk about what he was working on now, which is the field of "spirituality" as he called it.

When the announcer insisted on asking for answers to his questions, Amr Khaled removed the dialogue chair, which was being moved from his home in Egypt, and apologized for not completing the interview.

But he returned less than two minutes later and sat on the chair, asking the announcer to adhere to the axes of the talk, about "Tolerance and charity in Islam.

Amr Khaled revealed that he regretted the chicken advertisement that he presented on television, and that he would never return to advertisements.

He said that he went through difficult events in his life that completely changed him towards spirituality, and that he regretted many things in his life, stressing more than once that he had matured and was no longer the "old Amr Khaled."
