  Today, Beijing-Hong Kong Metro stated that it has taken a number of measures to ensure a safe and healthy passenger travel environment.

As soon as it learned of the travel trajectory, the Beijing-Hong Kong Metro had completely eliminated the National Library Station, Xizhimen Station, Beijing South Station and Xuanwumen Station of Line 4 on July 29.

  At the same time, Beijing-Hong Kong Metro has hired a third-party testing agency to conduct environmental sampling nucleic acid testing at the National Library Station, Xizhimen Station, Beijing South Station, and Xuanwumen Station of Line 4 on July 29.

The sampling locations mainly involved about 80 frequently touched parts of passengers' hands, such as automatic ticket vending machines, security inspection machines, ticket gates, escalator handrails, elevator buttons, platform seats, and toilet door handles.

At present, the environmental sampling test results are all negative, and the relevant staff nucleic acid tests are all negative.

  In response to the current epidemic situation in Beijing, the Beijing-Hong Kong Metro has continued to strengthen various epidemic prevention measures with high standards.

Continue to strengthen the disinfection and ventilation of stations and trains, and timely disinfect the equipment in close contact with passengers, such as security screening machines, gates, and automatic ticket vending machines in stations; strictly implement normalized epidemic prevention and control measures, and accurately implement ventilation, disinfection, and testing. Five basic epidemic prevention measures, including temperature control, setting up quarantine areas, and wearing masks, strengthen safety protection measures, and make every effort to ensure the safety of passengers.
