The statements have been accused of being homophobic and condemned by, among others, pop star Madonna, who in an Instagram post addressed to the rapper presents facts about HIV / AIDS and writes that "people like you are the reason why we still live in a world that is divided of fear".
Elton John, Questlove and artist Dua Lipa, who has collaborated with DaBaby, also condemn the rapper's comments, Billboard writes.
DaBaby has apologized for its statements.
"What I said was insensitive even though it was not my intention to offend anyone," he wrote on Twitter.
