The prefect of Corse-du-Sud, Pascal Lelarge, decided on Wednesday to make it again compulsory to wear a mask in Ajaccio, in the seaside resort of Porticcio and in Baléone, which brings together several shopping centers on the outskirts of Ajaccio, in the with the exception of natural spaces and beaches.

This measure, in force until August 18, does not apply to people practicing a physical activity or having a medical certificate justifying this exemption.

Same measure in Vaucluse, tourist department, where the prefecture has decided to extend the obligation to wear a mask for all people eleven years old and over in public gatherings, public transport, places of worship, streets and public spaces where the physical distance of at least two meters cannot be respected.

Weddings and baptisms must be declared at the prefecture

For the municipalities of the agglomeration community of the Ajaccian country and Grosseto-Pugna which includes Porticcio, baptisms, weddings or other festive ceremonies organized in establishments bringing together more than 50 people "must be declared to the prefecture" at "at least 72 hours before the event", specified the prefect.

Undeclared gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited after 9:00 p.m. in natural areas (beaches, parks, gardens, etc.) and on public roads in Ajaccio and Porticcio where the sale of alcoholic drinks to take away and their consumption on public roads are also prohibited.

Kendji Girac's concert canceled
