On July 27, in Karachaoke Village, Tuosite Township, Jimunai County, Xinjiang, the herdsman Gaosar Aiheng and his family were shearing more than 100 sheep.

In the summer, the local herdsmen usher in a busy season for shearing sheep.

In Gaussal's view, shearing wool means wealth, and it is a great thing. She cherishes every inch of wool.

Gaosar and the herders took wool shears, cutting from the neck to the tail of the sheep like a haircut. Every 10 minutes, a sheep wearing a thin fleece came out of the herdsman's hands.

Wool is divided into summer hair and autumn hair, which are cut twice a year. Generally, summer hair is cut in July and August, and autumn hair is cut in April and May of the lunar calendar.

A sheep can produce more than 3 kilograms of wool.

Sheep shearing time and frequency are determined according to conditions such as climate, breed, physiological characteristics, and the quality of feeding and management.

Wool is also the main source of wealth for herders throughout the year.

After finishing the cashmere grabbed, it will bring a lot of income to the herders.
