The American heavy metal band Metal Church's singer Mike Howe has died, 55 years old, reports NME. The death is confirmed on the band's Facebook page. "It is with deep sadness that we must announce that our brother, our friend and a true legend in heavy metal music has passed away," Metal Church wrote on Facebook. Metal Church was formed in San Francisco in 1980, but Mike Howe did not become a member until eight years later. He left the band in connection with their split in 1996 but became a
