On July 25th, Laguo Co, a lake at an altitude of 4500 meters on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China's second comprehensive scientific investigation and study on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (Second Qinghai-Tibetan scientific expedition), a member of the scientific expedition team "History and Influence of Human Activities", Chinese Academy of Sciences Study on the Tibetan Plateau Hou Xiaohuan, a doctoral student at the Institute, collected samples of topsoil in the lake basin that were not disturbed by humans on the shore of the lake, and carried out relevant scientific research.
It is understood that Laguo Co is located in Xingqin Village, Mami Township, Gaize County, Ngari Prefecture, Tibet. It is an inland salt lake. It is mainly supplied by ice and snow melt runoff and spring water. It is composed of five large and small rivers, covering an area of 96 square kilometers.
