Egyptian media revealed the developments of the ongoing investigations with the dentist accused of killing his wife in Dakahlia, the incident that stirred public opinion in recent days.
The dentist accused of killing his wife during his interrogation in front of the detectives admitted the details of his crime, as he said that he got rid of the victim because of marital differences between them.
The accused added that he used a kitchen knife, and stabbed his wife 11 times in the back and abdomen, and then went to an apartment in Al-Amiriya district in Alexandria, until he was arrested.
The accused described his work as a "devil's hour", adding that he did not mean that, and that what he had done destroyed his future, his life and his children.
And according to the website of the Egyptian newspaper, “Al-Watan”, the accused revealed the details of the incident, saying that a quarrel broke out between him and his wife that began with a verbal altercation that developed into a tangle of hands, then the quarrel stopped, and then went to the apartment’s kitchen, took a knife and stabbed her several times while she was sitting On the prayer rug, he ran away.
The security authorities reached the arrest of the accused after receiving a report from the second department of Mansoura from the International Hospital, that he received the body of a dentist with several stab wounds in the back, abdomen and chest.
A team was formed from the Public Security Sector, in coordination with the Criminal Investigation Department in Dakahlia, which was able to identify the perpetrator of the incident.
It turned out that the accused, the husband of the victim, a dentist, was hiding in a residential apartment in the district of the first department of Al-Amreya in Alexandria, where he was arrested.
