Hajj rites were held on a limited scale due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, and we ask God Almighty to pass this epidemic and return everything to its previous era.

Sacrifice is one of the most important rituals of Hajj, and it is a very important worship that must be performed in these blessed days, and we can look at it more broadly at this time full of lessons and meanings.

The Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him, went through a difficult journey, in which he sacrificed his dear son, the son he was born with after he exceeded the age of eighty, according to what is mentioned in the Bible.

It can be said that this journey carries many dimensions that require us to reflect and reflect.

In fact, the journey of the life of the friend of God, the father of the prophets, since its inception, has been a model for all people, as life constantly sets before us different paths to take, situations in which we must distinguish between good and evil, prices that we must pay, and sacrifices that we must make.

Heaven represents a boundless environment for blessings, where Adam and Eve could do whatever they liked without any responsibilities, but they embarked on another adventure after being tempted by Satan with the idea of immortality, and causing them to go on a journey of exile.

Hajj is a journey in which we remember the exile away from our homelands, and we also remember the enemy of humanity, Satan.

As long as some people refrain from walking these paths, standing for good against evil, and paying the price for their faith, they are always stuck in the circle of comfort.

As for our master Abraham, who can be considered a complete nation, he did not ignore these paths, signs, and messages that crossed his path.

Our master Ibrahim destroyed the idols that his people made with their own hands and worshiped them, and he stood against his father in this battle, then he challenged Nimrod, and risked being thrown into the fire, after which he went to Egypt, and from there to the Valley of Mecca, where he left his son Ismail at a young age, and walked alone on a journey Others, during which he underwent many experiences, knew the feeling of alienation, and thousands of doors of wisdom were opened for him.

Our great Lord chose his prophet and friend Abraham to be a unique model for all nations and peoples, and for these experiences to be passed on to subsequent generations.

The Hajj is a place where we imitate the entire journey of Abraham, but this journey does not only revolve around Abraham, peace be upon him, as it also represents the first meeting between Adam and Eve in this world, after they were expelled from Paradise because of the temptations of Satan.

Adam and Eve represent a journey that is embodied in the descent into this world, and without this journey the human race would not have appeared on earth, and this human experience would not have begun in the first place, because life would have remained within the circle of comfort in heaven.

The Hajj rituals are held collectively, but at the same time each individual lives within his own world, and has his own unique experience and feelings during this event.

Satan appears at every stage, trying to degrade the determination of the pilgrims. Therefore, this journey requires some sacrifices. The greater the sacrifices the pilgrim makes, the higher his status, his human value, and his worldview change.

There are many lessons to be learned from the Hajj, as the pilgrim goes to Mecca to understand the Islamic nation, to integrate with it, to stand on an equal footing with all, and in line against evil.

There are also lessons and national lessons that can be learned from this trip, the most important of which is the message related to the eradication of racism and discrimination, as it happens that some people neglect the values of equality and humility, and act arrogantly and arrogantly, by working to differentiate between pilgrims and prefer their countrymen over others.

Despite everything, the Hajj represents a journey whose waves extend to touch the entire Islamic world.

From the moment that the Hajj was imposed on Muslims, it became the cause of one of the greatest journeys that people take out of faith.

Throughout history, people have risked traveling and traveling in order to complete the ritual of Hajj, in a way that made them leave behind the circle of comfort in their daily lives, and open up to all the situations and lessons that they will find on their way.

Today, with convenient transportation, it is hard to imagine the days, when travel meant exposure to various types of security and economic risks.

With all the amenities in one place, the sedentary life we live is limiting our horizons and unconsciously discouraging us.

Some imagine that this luxury makes them free, but in fact it affects them negatively, and therefore the pilgrimage imposed on the able, is considered a worldly remedy for these people, and it is an invaluable opportunity to open up to the world and break the restrictions that they were not aware of.

A person may unconsciously suffer from addiction to certain habits that limit his freedom, and we have an example in God’s friend Ibrahim, peace be upon him, who succeeded in passing all tests with the mercy of God, and succeeded in breaking the restrictions.
