With the second landing of typhoon "Fireworks", torrential rain fell sharply in Shanghai and the water level continued to rise.

Some low-lying rural areas were severely affected by the disaster, causing considerable impact on residents.

At noon on July 26, there were three low-lying residential houses in Longyue Village, Jinshan District. The typhoon and heavy rain caused serious water accumulation. The water level was already below the knees, and it almost became an "island".

However, there is a household with two elderly people over 80 who are reluctant to leave.

Seeing that the water level continues to rise, residents' electrical boxes have been submerged, and there is a danger of leakage at any time.

After patient persuasion, the police finally succeeded in persuading the elderly to help them "off the island" against the current and safely go to the village committee resettlement site.
