  There are 11 Western Han Emperor Mausoleums in Shaanxi. Except for Emperor Wen Ba’s Mausoleum and Emperor Xuant’s Du Mausoleum which are located in Bailuyuan and Dudongyuan, the other 9 tombs are located on Xianyangyuan.

The archaeological work of the imperial mausoleum of the Western Han Dynasty has made unprecedented achievements in the past half a century.

  Among the cultural relics on display, the Emperor Xuan’s Duling golden hoop jade cup confirms the luxurious life of the emperor, the emperor Weiling jade of the Yuan Dynasty reflects the aesthetic standards of the Han Dynasty, the four gods embody the concept of the five elements, and the painted terracotta warriors and horses of the Han tomb in Yangjiawan, Xianyang reproduce the majesty of the Han army... The Western Han Dynasty For the first time, the exquisite cultural relics of the Imperial Tombs were assembled and displayed, bringing a special cultural experience to the public.

  The exhibition brings together 111 fine cultural relics (groups) of the Han Dynasty in Shaanxi, including 31 first-class cultural relics (groups), 20 second-class cultural relics (groups), and 45 third-class cultural relics (groups).

  "Gaowan Houwu/Bingwu" bronze seal, double-linked jade dancer, "Wu Xin" bronze seal, and bronze iron chop are exhibited for the first time.

The bronze seal of "Gaowan Houwu/Bingwu" is unearthed from the tomb of the east area of ​​Yangling of Emperor Hanjing. It is a private seal of a person's name. There are seals on both sides, namely "Gaowan Houwu" and "Bingwu".

The Indian lord Bingwu has written documents, he was the grandson of Bingqian, a hero in the early Han Dynasty, and the hero was Gao Wanhou.

This seal confirms the identity and rank of the owner of the tomb of the Yangling Tomb, and is of great significance to the study of the tomb system of the Western Han Dynasty.

The Shuanglian Jade Dancer was unearthed from the Duling Mausoleum of Emperor Xuanxuan of the Han Dynasty. It is a representative work of imperial jade in the Han Dynasty. It depicts the moment when the two danced side by side, showing the superb jade carving technique and outstanding aesthetic level of the Han Dynasty.

  It is understood that the exhibition is divided into four parts.

The preface hall introduces the archaeological academic history of the imperial tombs of the Western Han Dynasty; the graphic and text of the first unit introduces the physical layout and functional structure of the large relics of the imperial tombs of the Western Han Dynasty, showing the cultural connotation and magnificent landscape of the "mausoleum as the capital"; the second unit exhibits excavated from the imperial mausoleum Cultural relics such as seals, currency, sacrificial supplies, and other cultural relics, revealing the Western Han Dynasty’s centralized administrative system, economic development level, and national ritual construction; the third unit has the pottery figurines, carts and horses, wine and food utensils, jade utensils, etc. unearthed through the Western Han Dynasty emperor’s mausoleum and funerary tombs.
