Claims to investigate doctors because of Yasmine Abdelaziz

Dr. Karim Mosbah, a member of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate, filed an official complaint against a number of doctors, accusing them of revealing the secret of the Egyptian artist Yasmine Abdel Aziz's illness, demanding that they be referred for investigation and discipline, for violating professional ethics and the doctors' oath, as reported by the Egyptian newspaper "Al-Watan" on its website.

Dr. Karim Mosbah explained, in the complaint submitted, in which a number of members of the Medical Syndicate stood in solidarity with him, that it included accusing a doctor of disclosing details of the health condition of the artist, Yasmine Abdel Aziz.

For his part, Dr. Osama Abdel Hai, Secretary General of the Physicians Syndicate, confirmed that it will be presented to the Professional Ethics Committee in the Syndicate for investigation, and the result will either be referral to the disciplinary body or preservation.


The Secretary-General of the Physicians Syndicate Council denounced what he described as the fierce attack that doctors are exposed to, due to medical complications, stressing that the presence of complications for any patient does not mean that there is an error, because it is illogical that there should not be complications.

And Abdel Hai continued, "Terrorizing doctors with these accusations will make them refrain from dealing with high-risk cases, as happens in some countries, which deprives these patients of their opportunities to receive treatment," stressing that the fierce and immoral attack on doctors in the social media is not in the interest of patients. medicine in Egypt.

The famous doctor, through his page on the social networking site "Facebook", revealed all the details of the artist's illness, Yasmine Abdel Aziz, the surgery she performed, and then the medical error that occurred and led to her falling into a coma before he deleted it.
