According to the Henan Provincial Government’s press conference on flood prevention and relief on the afternoon of July 26, as of 12 o'clock on the 26th, 69 people had died in Henan Province due to the disaster.
After five consecutive days of unremitting efforts by many departments and domestic rescue agencies, a total of 247 vehicles of various types were towed and placed in the three tunnels of the Beijing-Guangzhou Expressway Tunnel.
Sadly, as of now, on-site investigations have found 6 victims, 5 men and 1 woman.
